One Year Anniversary
I
can't believe we've been married for one year already....and we've been
together 5 years! I am telling you, after waiting 4 years to finally get
married we both have those days where we pinch ourselves to see if we
are really married!
It's
been a crazy year...getting settled at my job learning the art of
homemaking and getting our apartment organized and decorated (Still
working on that).
So today we are celebrating our special day in Paris....the city of love...and you get to watch our shortfilm from our wedding.

Italian Date
So we are trying this idea from Dating Divas.
The idea is for you to have a date night once a month and theme is
eating food from a different country each time. We've not been very
faithful but I thought I'd share our Italy theme.
It was a last minute decision....on the last day of the month I had a long weekend and I said "let's do it" and so we did Italy. I made some Italian rolls (which turned out amazing) with Salad as our entree. The main meal was Creamy Lemon Shrimp Pasta....it was delicious! For dessert we had "gelato"....it was simple vanilla ice cream with caramel syrup.
While we ate we listened to Italian Music and afterward we watched "The Italian Job"....we had never heard of or seen this movie before. We enjoyed it.
The date night was great and relaxing and our Italian dinner was incredible even if I cooked it. lol

Museums
Patrick and I on the following Thursday (after the Titanic Museum) went to the Technik Museum in Speyer. Follow the link to see their little video and see how cool it is....
Saw it? Cool, isn't it?
Anyway,
Patrick and I had an awesome day. Since I was super hot in the last Museum I dressed cooler....bad idea. Most of the cool stuff was outside and it was freezing and windy. On top of that I forgot my camera at home and had to take as many pictures as I could before my phone died. Other than that I had a great time. Most fun thing for me was hanging out with my best friend but I must say that the submarine was very interesting. It was not fun climbing into....and the ladder was SOOO cold. Seeing and experiencing the tight quarters was an special!
We also enjoyed there Dom IMAX cinema. There we watched a documentary on dolphines. Very interesting!
Last week we had our winter break. I was still getting over the flu and Patrick pulled a muscle but one thing we definitely wanted to do.... go to the Titanic Museum. As a teenager Patrick was crazy about the Titanic so when my mom saw that a museum had a special exhibition of the Titanic she told us about it.
So off we went on an amazing journey learning the history of the biggest ship of it's time. We had headphones we could listen too, we saw many artifacts brought back from the Titanic and they built a few things to look like on the Titanic. What made it even more interesting was that we got a Ticket with a name of someone that boarded the Titanic. Once we reached the end we were able to see if we survived or not.....really informative and fun day.

Six Month Anniversary
Ever
since Christmas I've been wanting to take some "professional" pictures
but just didn't have time and it just was to cold. But in time for our 6
month anniversary it worked out....and the sun came out!! The sun
inspires me to take pictures. And Pinterest gave me many ideas on poses.
Which is your favorite?
